Regular Bump on Eyelid

Appearance of a regular bump on eyelid can be alarming as such an appearance is associated with the development of eye styes. Basically, eye styes arise when there is a bacterial infection in the oil glands that are present in the eyelid.  Such a bump on eyelid is quite tender to touch and noticeable at the edge, where the eyelid meets the eyelashes. It basically arises due to the inflammation of the oil glands that are present at this junction.
